Monoprice TOSLINK cable. Perfect replacement for for too short OEM cable.

I ordered this cable for use with Sony DP-RF6500 Digital Surround Sound Wireless Earphones. The supplied cable was too short for the placement I wanted to use. This replacement cable solved that problem and added additional strain relief at the TOSLINK connectors. The headphones work great with the new cable and I now have the additional length required to keep the charging station in a convenient place. As usual, Monoprice to the rescue at a price that is SEVEN PERCENT of the cost for a shorter flimsier cable at Best Buy. Other than immediancy, I do not understand how retail stores EVER sell computer or electronic cables to anyone. Monoprice has been my GO TO for parts since 2004. Can't imagine looking elsewhere. MONOPRICE TOSLINK CABLE: 5 STARS. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

durable construction

Unlike the other TOSLink cables I own that have the filament barely covered by the insulation and feel like you're literally working with a piece of glass as you try to connect it up, this one feels more like a flexible USB cable which is much more confidence-building!

Perfect cable

This worked perfectly. I used this between two keystone jacks in the wall for a TV installation. The ends snapped reassuringly into the jacks, and the digital audio works as expected.
