Monoprice Premium Hi-Fi DJ Style Over-the-Ear Pro Headphone - Headphones - full size - wired - 3.5 mm jack

When initially ordering the Mono Price Premium HiFi Over the Ear Pro Headphones I was not sure if they were wireless or not but assumed because ‘wireless' was not in the title that they were the plug in type. The outside of the box was impressive but once I opened it the headphones sat in a flimsy plastic mold. Also included in the box were two cords, one 50 inches in length and another heavier cord 11.5 ft in length as well as a gold plated adapter plug. One thing that was missing though was the instructions! I understand that people should know how to use headphones but I wanted to make sure I received everything that was supposed to come with the headphones as well as some instruction on the cords and plug that were included. I ended up looking the headphones up on the internet to see if there was any more information I needed to know and to ensure I received everything. Both cables are with the smaller plugs (on both ends) that fit any cellphone, MP3, and computer. There was also an adapter plug for stereo units. I plugged in the shorter cable to the headset and attached the other end to my cell phone listen to my music. What a pleasant surprise! First, the headphones were very comfortable with big soft cushions surrounding my ears. When I started listening to the music the sound was incredible! Clear and crisp with a surround-sound feeling. While they don't boast that they are noise cancelling I was impressed at the amount of noise that I did not hear when wearing them (TV, kids). The longer cable is really nice in that you can be hooked up to your computer and walk around the room with ease. The product also states the earpieces can be turned outward and used as speakers. I tried this and was not very impressed but as a headphone I would recommend these to anyone. They are relatively inexpensive and if you don't mind being ‘wired' these are a great set of headphones.

These are very nice headphones at a very nice price! This is a great quality headphone with a great level of sound. These are an over the ear design, with earpieces that swivel and are quite comfortable. The weight is just right, not too light and not too heavy. The top of the headphone is padded and doesn't push into the top of your head. The plastic does not feel cheap or flimsy. These headphones come with two detachable cables and you can customize the length and connection of the cable without disassembling the headphone. This is a great feature! The two cables are 3.5mm and measure 11.5 feet long and 50" long. There is a 3.5mm to 1/4" gold plated adapter cable. The cables plug into a 3.5mm jack in the bottom of the left ear piece. The detachable cords also make storage easy with no more tangled cords. The music sound quality of these headphones is very good, as is the vocal pick up. Actually, the great sound coming out of them is quite astonishing. There is plenty of volume, which you will most likely not need to use at full capability. These also do a great job of sound isolation. The only complaint I have with these headphones is that the "pleather" earpads can get warm after a lengthy period of use. These are a pair of good sounding headphones and are very well made. These headphones are a great design and the best value you will find for such a great price! I would definitely recommend them to anyone!
