Monoprice tv bracket

The Monoprice bracket was perfect to hang a tv in the corner of our "barn." The directions were very easy to follow and the bracket is super strong, even if the bracket is fully extended. Thanks!

Sturdy, easy to install, I'm more than pleased.

I've installed 3 or 4 tv mounts over the years... it's not too difficult... and I would say this is also... not difficult. It is marginally cumbersome when affixing the plate to the wall as the arms to situated outward... might help to have another person... but I managed. The only time I really needed a second person was when I was lifting the tv up to have the "hooks" connect to the arm/face. It took the wife 10 seconds to tell me, higher. We are discussing wall mounting our other tv in our other living room... and I'd probably go with this again...

Excellent Unit

Unit comes pretty much assembled, just a matter of mounting the articulating portion of the mount on the wall using the supplied lag bolts, then mounting the 2 brackets onto the back of the TV. Finish by hanging the tv with brackets attached onto the articulating portion. I was afraid it would be a bear to hang by myself due to the weight of the unit. After hanging the template on the wall, I drilled the holes for the lag bolts and attached the articulating assembly to the wall by myself, not at all as challenging as I had imagined. I?m 72, so I wasn?t thinking I was doing this on my own but ta-da, done. Toughest part was hanging the 65? Sony TV onto the articulating assembly. In hindsight I would not recommend doing the TV hanging part by yourself, but I was always young and dumb, so now I guess I?m old and dumb. This is a rock-solid unit, no need to worry about extending its full range. Highly recommend this unit to anyone looking for this type of mount.
