My office needed a rug to combat the echoes of a tile floor. I love bright pink and ordered this with my fingers crossed, as I've been burned in the past by misrepresented colors. I was surprised at how vibrant this rug is. I love the color! It's almost pure magenta and white. The reason I know it's magenta is because my little dog got into the printer ink and spread it all over the carpet. It matched beautifully and was just a touch darker than the rug. The best part about this rug is that the ink came off with a little rubbing alcohol. I couldn't get the ink off of anything else in the house, but it came right up off this rug. If I have to buy another area rug, it will be this same kind. I don't think my husband would appreciate another pink one, though!
