It is a very well built and sturdy product. The waterproof store bag is very spacious, the assembly is fairly easy, and I still have clearance to open the rear hatch of my SUV. Received it in 2 days b/4 Thanksgiving. Great cargo basket that didn't rattle while driving 1600 miles on the 1st trip. I used the hitch stabilizer, the bag, and straps. it kept everything secure. a regular sized cooler fits in the bag plus some luggage. The bag is very thick and kept everything inside dry and clean.

Great value. Good customer service.

I usually purchase items based on functionality and value. This hitch carrier set provided the extra room I needed for my camping trip, at a reasonable price. Customer service did take more than a week to respond, but addressed my issue promptly afterwards. My carrier bag came with 6 tie-down straps, of which one was defective. I guess being a small business they don’t carry spare parts around so they sent me a new bag set, and said I can keep the old one. The carrier can fold up when not in use; however, you likely will need some tool around to knock-loosen/insert the pin each time as the holes may be slightly off alignment once installed. I don’t believe it’s design-flaw, but more so needing tight fit so the hinge doesn’t create more shaking. A better installer maybe able to align them better than I did. I have a Lexus NX300 and the rear hatch could not open pass the carrier when folded up. Some cars may make it but I’d imagine a majority won’t. The hitch connection stabilizer was difficult for me to install and I am not sure I did it correctly but the carrier wasn’t rocking while I drive. Could be the instructions or could be user error. I’ll check again next time. The 2 included tie-down straps worked well and I secured the bag to the carrier with no issue. People with steep driveways should load/unload on the street. Fully loaded, the car rear drops inches so any sizable dip will cause the carrier to touch and drag on the ground.
