Mizani True Textures Twist and Coil Jelly 8oz/226.8g

I have 4c hair, and never thought i could do a wash and go until i used this. After washing and conditioning, i applied this to my soaking/dripping hair in sections with the praying method. Then gently raked my fingers theough once done. I then sat under the hair drier for 20 minutes to combat shrinkage, and then air dry the rest. My hair has defined beautiful curls for days without being crunchy! Ive done this process 4 times already and still have about half of the product left!

My daughter (age 11) and I are experimenting with more styles as she starts doing her hair herself. She has thick, type V (based on the charts in this site) hair. This past summer we used this gel (at the recommendation of the salon) over a leave-in (not Mizani). The results were fantastic. The gel is lightweight so I was skeptical about the hold. The hold was good and her hair was not weighed down. The shine was wonderful also. I look forward to trying with a Mizani leave-in + hood dryer. Any recommendations on products for dry ends and detangling? That's our other challenge.
