Fresh is best. This item is so good for my digestion by chewing on one single leaf after a meal. Adding it to a fresh salad of fruits or lettuce along with favorite other fruits or veggies. Even in tea if the leaves are dried.

I like that the quality is mostly consistent. has never been mildly or unedible, it's usually enough for whatever I need it for, it tastes good but sometimes the flavor is a little weak. not a deal breaker though! it's not perfect, but overall very good. I will continue to buy until spring when I can start growing my own again. rinse and repeat! 😁
