So far this trolling motor seems to be doing quite the job My wife and I own a 10 foot boat on a small lake so it works perfectly The steering is good. The mounting is good. A great value is what I mean. For the price definitely worthwhile. How long will this last? We will find out but it does the job and I'm using a regular 12 V battery like one you could use for your lawn tractor. It's quiet and powerful and perfectly enough. So far, we are satisfied.
