I bought these for making jelly

I actually bought these to make jelly but you cannot put them in hot water to sterilize them and you cannot put hot jelly in there because they are plastic and they melt and you can't seal the top either like you were jelly, so no they are not appropriate for jelly or jam

Does not say anywhere in the description that these are plastic. If they were plastic I wouldn't have ordered them. Very very disappointed I'll have to use these for screws and nails.
