Mineral Fusion Nail Polish, Moondust, 0.33 Oz

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While this metallic polish is not as chunky as the regular polish, it's still a bit difficult to apply smoothly. On the color: another reviewer said there was no lavender in it, only silver, so when I received it I was surprised to see the color is very strongly lavender. Until I applied it. It's the weirdest thing. It's light purple in the bottle and silver on my nails although the photo makes it both look silver. A very mercurial color.

Like all of the MF original nail polishes, Moondust goes on smoothly and evenly, dries fast, and lasts a long time. Unfortunately, this color looks nothing like it does in the bottle, nor does it match the description at all. To me, matching the description is most important because we all know that sometimes makeup looks a little bit different in the package than after application. On the nails, Moondust looks straight-up silver, with no discernible lavender. It's cool, but doesn't remotely look like what the description promised.
