Smashed before ever mailed

I ordered 3 of these for my Nephews and all 3 were smashed before bubble wrapped and packaged for shipment. Why would anyone play $30 for a smashed item?? Quality Control should have pulled them before ever stocking them in the warehouse. Ridiculous.
