I did not personally taste this item, so this review relies on what my friend's dog, Chico, had to say. I have known Chico for a little over a year and he insists that he has an exquisite and very refined palate. Who am I to argue with an upright, sound of mind and body, dog with impeccably good taste--afterall, we are best friends. Therfore, I will use a direct quote from him on this treat, "More please, these are scrumptious.... if you want a longer, more detailed review, leave the bag, and I will provide an update upon polishing it off. The estimated wait time is less than 1 minute." Well, I did not leave the bag, so this review is necessarily truncated. I have a 15-year-old male and a 6-year-old female Shih Tzu dogs. The female hates peanut butter, but the male loves it. When I opened these treats, the female kept trying to steal the males treats. I guess she changed her mind when she smelled the bacon in these treats. I like that these dog treats are not expensive and I can give my dogs something they both love.
