Fantastic Winter Driving Tires

In Winnipeg and the southern half of Manitoba, we get all four seasons over short periods of time. I had four Michelin X-Ice tires on my Venza this past winter and felt very secure when we were at -40 and also when temperatures went above zero. I felt comfortable driving in the snow and on ice. And when the snow and ice started to melt I had good reaction driving in the remaining water. The tire design kept snow out of the tires and prevented buildup and braking problems. They are great winter snow tires and I recommend them highly.

I really like these X-Ice Winter tires for snow and ice here

I have then installed on the SUV for a few years Winter driving. They are smooth, quiet, better stopping power on snow and ice, better traction gripping power to start off a lights. Very pleased with them, better than other cheaper snow tires I've had. Now bought and installed them on the car. They have a better tread design then my other old winter tires.

Confident, Quiet, and Perfect for Winter EV Driving

I recently switched to Michelin X-Ice tires for my electric vehicle, and I couldn't be happier with the decision. From the first snowfall, these tires have delivered exactly what I was hoping for — confidence, control, and comfort. They handle beautifully in all winter conditions — whether it's icy back roads, slushy intersections, or packed snow. The traction is solid and predictable, and braking feels secure even in challenging situations. My EV's instant torque can be tough on tires in the winter, but the X-Ice grips so well that acceleration remains smooth and stable. Another big advantage is how quiet they are. Since EVs don't have engine noise, tire sound becomes more noticeable, and I was pleasantly surprised by how refined these feel on the road. They also seem to have low rolling resistance, so I haven't noticed any major impact on range. After several weeks of mixed winter driving, I can confidently say the Michelin X-Ice tires live up to their reputation. They provide excellent safety and comfort without sacrificing efficiency — exactly what an EV driver needs in a winter tire.
