Doesn't have the bitter taste of nonfat powdered milk. My %231 use is to add to hot chocolate. But it's good for gravies, and anything that you want to add "creaminess" to. For example: chicken noodle soup, meatloaf, potatoes (au gratin, scalloped), etc. Seems to be better for my allergies/lactose intolerance.
