Happy I bought it
Exceeded my expectations given my poor experience with a poor quality Extender. Spend the extra money and step up to the Netgear Mesh Extender vs lower frequency ones. If you setup with same WiFi name as your router, be mindful that once setup move the extender to the Intended location to pick up the signal from Extender otherwise if setting up next to router you will only pick up router and not Extender and may think your Mesh Extender is not setup!

Great product but buy an Orbi instead
Since this connects to your main wireless router, you need to know the user name and password prior to connecting the extender, otherwise it won't work. Since I have Netgear, I had to download the Nighthawk app on my cellphone to connect it. Although I like the product, the only reason I bought it is because I already have one extender and needed to add 5G wireless capability to a 3rd building on the property. If I didn't already have an existing extender, I would have purchased the Orbi product. My neighbor has one , and the range with his is much better. But overall I'm happy with it as it works well by extending the wireless range that wouldn't otherwise be possible.
