Great Scanner, Can Setup for One Button Scan.

Great scanner. No software needed. Connect to network either through Internet cable or Wi-Fi (thru scanner's touchscreen), then create/share a scan folder on your computer, create network scan profile through scanners web management page using it's IP Address in Browser, test profile by scanning document to computer, then create shortcut on scanners little screen to that Profile, then tell scanner to boot up to shortcut page thru scanner's settings on screen. Then every time you wanna scan something just put documents in top of scanner and push the one shortcut button on your new home screen and instant single PDF document will appear in your scan folder on computer. Scanner automatically scans both sides of paper and ignores blank sides automatically by default. This is based on a sensitivity setting in scan profile. I usually set up a static or reserved IP address for the scanner so I always know where to access it. If you know how to configure, it is capable of scanning to email also. These scanners will last for years and they just work. I buy these for clients and set up often. Once you learn how to configure, the product is very easy to use. The scanner is fast, scans both sides of pages at about one or two seconds per page. I think the paper tray can hold 35 to 50 pages. By moving the side paper size adjusters, you can scan different size pages very easily, including photos. The paper path with which it scans is straight, so there is no bending or turning of paper like some sheet feeders. The scanner does not have a flatbed or a glass top to scan such things as magazines or books, but I don't know of any one who really requires this and this also makes the scanner smaller. Doesn't take up much space, just keep in mind paper holders at top and bottom have to be pulled out to scan and catch letter size paper so scanner will need a little extra space in front and back of it. I highly recommend this, it'll last you 10 years.

Brother Products Always Great

I purchased this scanner to replace an old Brother model that finally gave up the ghost. This one was incredibly easy to set up and use and has been performing flawlessly so far. During COVID I moved to an entirely 'paperless' filing system so use this scanner to digitize a large pile of documents every year - I'm confident this product will serve me well in getting that task done.

Great scanner. Many helpful features

Works well. Scans tow side at once and automatically deletes a blank page if it see one while scanning. Nice feature allows you to continuous scan after the fort 50 pages are complete. Just load the next stack in the feeder and hit “add pages”. If it jams (forgot to remove staple ) you can just rescan that added page deck without having to rescan the first deck. Nice feature warns you about deleting a scan before you save it to your computer. Like the auto color scan feature and how it can scan different size papers in the same stack.
