Well developed, implemented, and supported.

I find the Net Gear ReadyNAS to be an exceptional product. It is ideal for my engineering applications. The ease of administration is surprising. The hard drive screw-less carrier makes things easy and quick. So for I have only good words to say about this product.

Good Performance Buggy Windows Behavior

The response is quick and it is very reliable but it takes an IT professional to set it up. Still can't get permissions right or for it to stay mapped as a network drive. It also gets lost from Windows Explorer all the time and files that you can see are on there through the Internet Explorer interface don't always show up in Windows Explorer. Constantly making me sign back on and never remembering the Windows Explorer mapped drive auto sign on.

RN424 NAS

NAS itself is rock solid as always. However in terms of Insught it shows that it is waiting for first connection for 2 days now. This is the third one that I've had this issue with. I have 2 of these in our office that connected fine.
