I have nebver tried a piece of shapewear in my life. I purchased this for my Daughters Wedding. Wow! What a difference it makes!! This fit and support were great, It was also very comfortable. I found it to be like a pleasant hug. As an added bonus, I found this comforting and calming similar to a weighted blanket. The only "complaint" I have is that the cups arent padded. It was an easy fix. I used 2 removable cups from another item. No big deal!

This isn't like an underwire in the sense it doesn't 'prop you up' but it sure is comfortable and that is the draw here. Also it doesn't dig into your ribcage underneath, after I put it on I was like wow I might not have to do the 'pull and adjust' where the under elastic on other bras sort of starts to stick to you as the day wears on. I could actually sleep in this bra and be comfortable though it is more supportive than the carole martin type bras, the material with this one is a bit thicker and kind of stops the 'rolling around or out' thing that happens sometimes with the Martin type bra during sleep with we bigger gals. The material is some kind of stretch synthetic but it did not feel heavy or sweaty which is a plus and I didn't get the shoulder strap burrowing/folding up/hurting with this style. Fit is also somewhat subjective as some women like a tighter or looser fit so keep that into consideration but the size chart was accurate to what I needed. Appreciate the front-hook style as well as the fact there are a decent amount of hooks which kind of distributes the 'keeping everything in place' and did not create a 'uniboob' which is the bane of all busty gals. The material really helps with that as well, letting things sort of stay separated in a comfortable way. I will no doubt be getting more of these for one of those "I want to be extra-comfy' days.
