I hope these are as waterproof as they say they are. But they are very comfortable. They stretch to fit my very wide foot and my very wide ankles. They also fit people with smaller feet and normal size ankles because I bought my husband a gray pair and he also thinks that they feel good to wear. I have not worn them yet in the rainy weather so I'm looking forward to them protecting from the winter slush and rain.
