Paw Patrol Look Out Playset with Chase Figure for 3+ Age, (3 Pack)

My boys were so excited to get this, however thr first question my oldest asked "wheres rumble, rocky, marshall?" So it was a little disappointing only to have one character. The assembly was quick and easy... Even with a 3 year old & 4 year old 'helping' me we had it together in less than 5 minutes. No tools required. The boys played with this for around a hour. I did have to put the slide back together over a hand full of times (it snaps in place so i dont inderstand why it comes apart so easily) Weve only had this toy about 3 days, it appears chase with his truck, the 'alarm' with light / sound & the telescope are the best parts of this toy my boys like. The telescope comes off as well as the 'alarm' my son wears it as a badge So all in all my boys like this toy! They are still asking for the other chatacters though.

The girls' here eyes lit up when we took this toy out of the box. An older granddaughter explained to me that this is from a TV show that the kids always watch. They love Paw Patrol. This is a fire station set that has a lookout tower with a slide, an elevator and a speaker with a paw print on the cover of it. The colors are bright red, blue, white and the slide is gray. I thought the speaker was a nice touch. The speaker is the only part that requires batteries. Batteries come pre-installed and there are no spares provided. The speaker is nice and loud enough for the kids to hear good and uses clear language. One of the messages is a siren, but all of them are rather short. We adults like that part because sometimes loud continual noise gets a little irritating after an hour or so. It also has a little blue truck, or fire van about 5 X 3". The truck is not mechanical at all but the wheels roll very easily. This set also has a heavy plastic bear with a blue coat and hat. His arms and legs are moveable. Cute. He looks to be about 3 & a half inches tall. The toy as a whole is quite attractive. It needs some assembly. The roof, the slide. the yellow, round lookout on the very top and the slide pole. The tower top also has to be secured to the bottom half. I thought the slide pole was a little flimsy and I think my granddaughter may have got it on up side down. It's hard to take out and turn around so be careful when you put yours on. I fiddled with this toy for about half hour until she came in and had it all together in 15 minutes. I don't think older kids 5 & up will require a lot of supervision playing with the set. Three and four-year-olds may require a little watching. I'm not sure how good this toy will hold up with a lot of rough handling, but there really is no reason they should get that rowdy with it. The truck and bear look to be unbreakable. The only reason I didn't give this toy 5 stars was because to me the price of $35 seemed a little high and I didn't like the pole. It seems a little too flimsy. However, as a reviewer panel member I've noticed that all the prices for toys seem a little high. It appears that toys are getting a little higher priced. So I could be wrong about it costing a too much.
