DAP Plastic Wood All Purpose Wood Filler - Latex-Based, Finish - 8 oz

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this product on a windowsill in my Daughters bedroom and it worked great! One of our dogs had chewed the wood away from the sill in an area about the size of 2"w x 1/2"d x 3/8"t. After a rough sand to remove splinters, I carefully tapped in a few small nails into the sill in the chewed area- equally spaced. Thus like "pinning" that area to provide some extra support for plastic filler material. I then used this product to fill the area making it slightly thicker than the adjoining wooden sill. After setting up/drying completely I sanded the filler down to form it to the original sill shape. Finally, I painted the sill and it looked great! No one would ever know that it had been repaired. I will definitely buy this product again.

I'm filling some glue-lam beams that have separated between the plies slightly. Not structurally a problem, but more astetically an issue. The tubs and tubes are difficult to apply in my case, and the quick dry time makes it challenging to get into the groves (1/2 - 1 inch deep and 1/8 to 1/4 inch wide). I have tried loading the product up in a clean blank tube of caulk with good success, but loading it is a pain and messy. Would be great to offer this in a caulk tube where the tip size could be varied and it would help it get into deep grooves or cracks and could be used for longer fill scenarios. Do caulk tubes of this product exist?
