Sanpellegrino Lemon Italian Sparkling Drinks, 66.9 fl oz, 6 Pack Cans

I've loved this soda for years. This is no ordinary lemon flavored soda. It's a blissfully sparkling lemonade that brings all the bright, puckery summer to your tongue with the very first sip. The carbonation is intense. Ice cold and straight out of the can it's literally the most perfect canned beverage on the market. Lemon is the foreground, strong and sour. The mellow sweetness balances it perfectly. Each time I treat myself to this drink, I wonder how it's been so long since I had it last. It reminds me of homemade lemonade only better. It's a wonderful straight soda which is also a useful tool in mixing cocktails and even baking. If you're a sour fan, you can't go wrong with this. It's not like other lemon sodas or any other drink on the market. Its not loaded down with caffeine and chemicals and the flavor gives you the impression that whomever makes it drinks it themselves.

This product has two great features, the first is that the product is wrapped in a plastic wrapper and the second and big point winner is the foil cap that is over the drinking/pouring area. I really like this feature for keeping that area really clean. After opening the can you can smell the lemon aroma coming from the can. It will fizz when pouring over ice, but not to the point of overflowing. This is a lightly carbonated beverage, now the taste is more intense that you would think. I found it surprisingly and delightfully tart, without being overly tart, it does have a puckering effect. I really liked it, it's not overly sweet and had a nice finish, but now I do like a full bodied taste. I let some of my co-workers try it and one really liked it and the other did not really care for it. To tart for them, but again everyone has different taste. This is one of the better lemon beverages that I have tried that does not have that bad after-taste that some do.
