However, there was an obvious manufacturing defect in the topper that caused a roll width-wise about a quarter from one end. Because this roll bunched up the topper it made it too small for our mattress, but that didnt matter much anyway as the roll would be like sleeping on a bump (albeit a soft bump, but still). I immediately thought about how much of a hassle it was going to be to return something that came in a tidy little box but had now expanded to more than four times its shipping size. I emailed Allswell directly expecting a long process and possibly not even getting a response. Instead, a customer service rep (thank you Brittani!) replied just a couple hours later stating that our satisfaction was of upmost importance to Allswell. After sending her pictures of the defective topper, her team determined that the best resolution was to send us out a replacement topper, free of any charges, without the need for me to attempt to package up and return the defective mattress. The replacement order was placed right away and we were given a tracking number. Within a few days our replacement topper arrived, free of any defects, and we have slept beautifully ever since.
