Melnor Flat Soaker Hose

I have used these hoses in both vegetable and flower gardens. I like them better than the plastic tubing, they are more flexible and forgiving and put out plenty of water.

This soaker hose does exactly what you want it to, waters your plants without getting the leaves wet and your having to stand out there in the sun to do it. If you get a timer for your faucet and set it, you don't need to do a thing! It works well, puts out a decent amount of water and if you cover it with mulch, will be out of sight. I wanted mine to water a bed on the other side of my front porch from the faucet, so I ran a flexible hose from the faucet across the porch against the wall and then hooked the soaker hose up to it and wrapped it around the plants. I turned on the faucet and voila! Easy-peasy. I can recommend this hose.
