Melissa & Doug Wooden Magnets – Animals

This is a great set of magnets for fun or learning!!! The magnets are made of wood with the magnet on back, and the Animal sticker on top. It is easy to handle for a child, my 4yr old likes This to play with the animals and make scenes on the refrigerator, or a Easel, or a magnet board. Also I have noticed that these magnets attach Well to the different surfaces, like the fridge, easel, and magnetic board. The magnets vary in size from about 1.5" to 4" depending on animal. This set also has a nice mix of animals, as there are a few sea animals, Jungle animals, farm animals mixed together. Easy for a child to pick up, put on magnetic surface, take off etc. Wood is well sanded so no splinters on fingers. The wood box it comes in is nice, but I keep these in a ziploc bag when Not in use because wood box dosent have a top. I still give this a 5 cause its colorful, and fun for child to play with on magnetic Surfaces.

I have always loved the Melissa & Doug brand. They make toys for kids of all ages. These magnets sure are a hit in my house. My nephew was playing with them today and we had a blast making the animal sounds to match each magnet. The magnets are thin but durable. They are not big and bulky either. The pictures are very easy to to see with bright colors. Did I mention that there are 20 magnets! They stayed on my refrigerator securely. Without sliding down. I will definitely be purchasing some of the other Melissa &Doug magnets.
