This play pizza has a fabric "crust" pre-cut into quarters with a variety of felt "toppings", a plastic tray, and a sturdy cardboard pizza box. The variety of toppings enhances the play experience, as "customers" can order many different topping combinations. Parents can even start teaching fractions by asking for one topping on a half or quarter of the pizza and a different topping on the rest. The fabric-and-felt combination allows the toppings to stay on relatively well during play (vs plastic or wooden options). The pizza also has separate felt pieces for the "sauce" and "cheese", which I like so kids can better simulate all the steps of pizza making; I didn't see this in a lot of other similar options, where the "sauce" and "cheese" were either already on the "crust" or were combined into one. The box is a nice touch. One thing that I felt should have been included is a play pizza cutter, especially given how difficult it is to find play pizza cutters that are not part of another set. However, the features of the product mentioned above still led me to choose it over other options.
