My husband did this for me. It helps especially if you smoke or just that funky odor especially after a hot humid summer. Notice the smell of the car on “recirculate” ? It is when the cabin's air is recirculating button is on. If you turn it off, fresh air comes in. Often times you can ask a mechanic or research your make and model of car to replace that cabin filter. Not the oil filter but the interior cabin filter! It helps so much. But in between service check ups, use this stuff! It smells amazing! My husband LOVES the new car scent. It smells like leather. Clean and smooth, not perfume me but exactly like you just drove the car off the lot and that's his favorite. I just ordered two more of these. Thanks!

I haven't used it in my car yet. However I have used it in my 1 bdrm and 1 ba, And you would NOT believe how great this smells, and the lasting affect it leaves in your apt, home, room, and even your car. I have a friend of mine that uses these in her mobile home and loves how you don't smell the smoke for a long time after you set a bomb off. It only takes 10 mins to work! And if you think the smell is to strong for you, you can air it out for 10 mins or less.

Got rid of a funky smell in a new-to-me car. Clicked it on, put it in the middle of my backseat (about the middle of the car), started the car HVAC and walked away for 10-15 minutes. I did turn the car off afterward and let it sit overnight. The funky smell is gone. Unfortunately, this fragrance didn't last very long (maybe a few weeks), but I was ok with it since it did get rid of the initial smell and it hasn't come back. (Its been about a month). I would get a different scent. This one does smell like a new car- including the new plastic smell. Next time I'll try something tropical.
