I wanted to hate this. i ordered the $50 model that was "in stock" and they brought this out with an upcharge. i walked in and saw they had what I ordered, but I didn't have the time or payience thatvday to deal with customer service. I accepted and moved on. I'm happy I did that. the wider mouth cup and the stronger motor is night and day better than the previous unit that the cup blender attachment stripped out. the timer is great vs previous just holding down the button. the on/off method it uses to blend smoothly is phenominal. as someone who blends a preworkout protien smoothienevery day, this was worth every penny. i would reccomend AND buy again...hopefully not for a few years at least though. Far and away the "smoothest" results I've gotten. Tip - dont fill the cup up all the way and allow the smoothie to "rise" while this blender works. It will produce a much better product.

I finally settled on this one, and it's been absolutely perfect! So easy to both use, AND to clean, unlike other blenders. Always a nice, smooth consistency, and pretty much pulverizes everything you put in! So, not a lot of prep before using.
