Birds enjoy it
We had a problem with the squirrels fighting the birds for food, so we tried a different feeder and food - both from Pennington. The squirrels have given up and the birds are starting to return. They seem to enjoy being upside down. Thank you Pennington!

No more squirrels
I have some pesky squirrels in my neighborhood that seem to get at everything. This bird feeder is the perfect solution to keeping them out of the birdfeeder. The top "roof" part of the feeder comes up easily so you could drop blocks of bird feed into it. The roof part stays on the metal hanging wire so it doesn't get misplaced. The birds are able to eat the feed through the bottom of the feeder. There are also plastic windows in the feeder that look like they could be easily removed if you prefer the birds to be able to access the food that way. I also like that the feeder is metal which will definitely add to it's durability. I've only had it up a few weeks and have already seen different types of birds in my yard that never came around before.
