Exceptional
A very impressive binocular. Rock solid construction with good features. I use these for the rifle range & hunting. Slightly on the heavy side, it may not be ideal for back-packing, it will allow you to see a great distance.

An Eye for Nikon
I have been pleased with my Nikon Action EX 16 x 50mm Binocular. I mostly use it for birding. The optics are superb (typical for Nikon). It would be nice to have a zoom capability, but that would result in a loss in optical clarity and an increase in weight. The lens caps are awkward and will likely not be used. The system used to attach the binocular to a monopod or tripod requires removal of the cap covering the focus cam. The screw used to attach this adaptor is difficult to tighten completely. These are, however, minor problems.

This product is just awesome. Amazing optics, clarity and zoom feature. I used it to look at the new york skyline from new jersey and was amazed by what this product can do
