Perfect replacement

Ordered this mechanical fuel pump for a 1986 k5 blazer with a 350 V8 carbureted engine and had no issues using the already existing tubes. So far everything has been working well with this fuel pump after running my truck for about 100 miles.

Verified Purchase

SBC fuel pump

Installed a standard SBC fuel pump on my 1985 Chevy 350 - installation went fairly smooth until I got down to connecting the fuel lines. The flex line from the tank wasn't an issue but the hard line to the carburetor would not align with the flared fitting. It appears that the lower section of the fuel pump wasn't not clocked in the correct position in order to thread the hard line. Trying to bend the hard line enough to thread in proved unsuccessful. I ended up cutting the hard line and replacing it with 3/8” rubber fuel line.
