For use on a single patient, do not use on more than one patient. Not intended for more than one use. Improper use of blood lancets can increase the risk of inadvertent transmission of bloodborne pathogens, particularly in settings where multiple patients are tested. Protective cap is a single sterile barrier system. Do not use the safety lancet if the protective cap has been previously removed from the device. Risk of injury. If the penetration depth is too deep, the puncture can injure children. Before using the lancet for the first time on children, ask your healthcare professional. Start with the lowest penetration depth. Discard the entire used safety lancet after use into a sharps container in accordance with facility guidelines and local regulations.
