Convenient
As a busy mom who cooks every day, I usually use fresh ginger, but McCormick Ground Ginger has become my convenient backup. I reach for it constantly. For example, fried rice, vegetable stir fry, yakisoba, udon, ramen, pasta sauces, and even ginger tea. The flavor is warm and full of aroma, and it mixes in smoothly without clumping. It's milder than fresh ginger, which actually works well for my younger kids. My only real complaint is that the 1.5 oz jar goes fast for how often I cook. Overall, it's a reliable, easy pantry staple for everyday meals.

Always a pleasure, McCormick
I usually buy McCormick spices, and for good reason - they're some of the best! This ginger is no different; it's good quality, not clumped in the packaging, and a little goes a long way. I'll also take this time to applaud the new(ish) design of the spice container - I redid my spice rack a few years ago and transitioned everything into fancy glass bottles. If I had known McCormick would be coming out with these containers back then, I probably wouldn't have bothered making mine fancy because I prefer their containers now. I like the ergonomic flippy lid and I especially like that the name of the spices are written on the top of the bottle, as I store mine in a slim pull-out drawer. All in all, 10/10 for container design and for spice quality!

This product is excellent! It's clearly high-quality—it was nice and fresh right out of the package and had a wonderful, potent smell. I used it in my cookie recipe, and the results were perfect. The flavor came through beautifully, and the entire batch was gone in a flash! Definitely my new go-to.
