In the first 5k miles these are relatively capable tires. Off the start from a dead stop, wet traction is lacking. They break free quite often on slick roads; however, while at speed they evacuate water quite well and track well in heavy rain and standing water. Their "noise cancelling" tread design doesn't seem to do much on concrete but some types of asphalt they're very quiet. The sipes aren't as deep as I'd like to see on a 60k tire, so in time I can see snow traction compromised.

I've installed this make/model tire on two cars over the past couple seasons. One is a BMW 328Xi,the other a Mazda 3 Touring. So far they have been satisfactory with a comfortable and quiet ride. If you tend to be a more 'spirited' driver you might want something else. Will buy again if they are decent in the snow this winter.

Just replaced worn out OEM Bridgestones on my wife's Mazda 3 hatchback. So far like them pretty well. Interested to see how they perform in snow. In dry they are pretty good for a tire with this mileage/treadwear rating on the curvy mountain roads we drive daily. They are predictable in the wet, but give up earlier than a more performance tire as you would expect. We run Maxxis brand tires on our mountain bikes and dirt bikes and like them a lot.
