Mattel Barbie Doll Saddle and Ride Gray Toy Pony Horse Kid Child Play Set, Pink

Bought this for my daughter and she absolutely loves it! Would definitely recommend for girls who love horses.

This may be the nicest doll and horse set yet that I have seen produced in the last thirty or so years. The horse is very nice. Her tack is removable. Her mane and tail are a lovely color and match Barbie. I am not a fan of the plastic molded part of her mane also called the forelock (or bangs on a horse). Her legs, hooves, and stance are solid. She doesn't fall over easily like some of the other horses Mattel has made. Barbie is wearing painted on pants. Barbie has already marked on the white of her horse with the blue paint from her pants, that seems to be the only complaint thus far. Barbie has a nice face and minimal makeup aside from the bright pink lipstick. Her hair matches her horses mane. Her arms are nice and normal, instead of molded in a bend. They are not jointed. Her bracelet, eh I could see getting lost easily but it matches the tack. Also, Barbie's scarf is sewn to give it a layered look. Watch that a little girl doesn't rip her scarf to bits. The scarf works well to cover "Majesty's" wound (if you have seen the Barbie and Her Sisters in a Pony Tale movie then you'll know what I am referring to). By the way, the scarf has Velcro tabs. The only other complaint besides blue paint marks on the white horse from Barbie's pants are the lack of stirrups. But the little lass can always use her imagination.
