Mastercraft Glacier Trex Winter 225/55R18 98T Passenger Tire

These deserve another positive review posted here. First, I'm 90% sure that these are the same tire as the Cooper Evolution and Hercules Avalanche RT winter tires. Mastercraft is made by Cooper, same with many Hercules tires. Just look at the tread patterns. We have these on a 2014 Kia Forte and a 2009 Mercury Grand Marquis. Our driveway is steep and it gets icy in the winter. With summer tires we need a running start to get our cars to the top. With these tires we don't need a running start at all. The Forte isn't driven very heavily, but the first set of Mastercraft winter tires lasted 5 years of YEAR ROUND driving and have just been replaced this season. The Grand Marquis has only seen a few storms so far, but my commute is long and they have made all the difference. I'd buy these again in a heartbeat. There have been many hills, turns, and other conditions that I would have slipped or struggled with on summer tires where I haven't slipped a single tire because of these.
