Marvel Spider-Man Flying Figure IR Helicopter for Ages 8+

Fun while it lasts! Bought this for my 3 year old Grandson. Spidey looks and flies just like the ads once you get used to the controls. Unfortunately, Spidey's legs started breaking apart at the seam where they are glued at the calf after landing on soft carpet during the 2nd battery charge. I glued him back together, and our hero flew fine until the 4th battery charge when one leg broke completely in half leaving poor Spidey a battle worn amputee. I want to emphasize, no child flew him, only me, while my Grand-buddy laughed with glee! Also Spidey always landed on soft carpet or grass. I will admit, until I got the hang of it, he does "drop" fast and suddenly, so the legs take the brunt of gravity. Battery life is an issue. Started off flying about 20 minutes. By last flight, that time was less than 10 minutes. I gave him a 3 because as a Christmas gift under $25, the joy on my Spidey lovin' Grandson's face and laughter was well worth the money. For cool looks and flight WOW factor, "flighty Spidey" as my Grandson nicknamed him, gets a 5. But durability and battery life are a big negative so I don't recommend you purchase unless a short-lived adventure is all you want. :)
