Marvel Black Panther 6-inch Legends Series Sub-Mariner

I've been waiting YEARS for this figure to come out. Finally, it's here. This is how Namor should look. Before he started wearing his black pants & vest, this is how he appeared. It's the classic look. The body sculpt is virtually perfect. The upper chest could be broader, but it's nicely articulated with lots of great muscle detail. It's exactly the kind of superhuman body you would expect from a guy who swims around a lot & can withstand the tremendous water pressure deep under the ocean's surface. The very little paint work that was needed for this figure is clean & sharp. The trident accessory is nice & the extra, bearded head & interchangeable hands are just the icing on the cake. I'm not thrilled about the foot joint that was completely stuck with glue when I first opened him up, but I'm guessing a factory worker got a little too crazy with the adhesive that they used to attach the little wings to his ankles. I had to use a razor blade to get it unstuck again. Also, his legs below the knees (shins) seem too short & stocky to me. When I stand him up to Captain America, he just doesn't seem to meet him eye to eye. He should be every bit as tall as Cap. I think the difference, if there is one, is in those legs All in all, a great figure. I recommend it & would but another.
