My favorite everything bagels (from a store)

I’ve tried numerous other brands of storebought everything bagels. Trader Joe’s, Aldi, Publix, Dave’s Killer Bread, Thomas’. For some reason, these Walmart Marketside everything bagels are my favorite! They’re big in size (a great value for the price, compared to other brands), they’re soft, and they have a nice balanced flavor (unlike some other brands that are either too onion-heavy or completely bland). I make sure to get these every time I order from Walmart! They toast up really nicely too!

Great bagels!

These are about as good as "supermarket-style" bagels get. Infinitely better than the small pre-sliced bread-like consistency bagels sold at most other markets. They're shelf-stable, although if you're going to keep them for more than a few days it's best to store them in the fridge. Prior to serving, microwave them for 13 seconds on high heat. (Yes, I've experimented with the time). If you eat more than a few bagels a year, a bagel slicer (guillotine, slot or other) is a must-have. You also need a good serated bread knife. After the brief foray in the microwave, the bagel is easy to slide. Trying to slice a bagel without a bagel slicing apparatus is a risky businsess. Type "bagel slicer" in the search bar, and there are many options for about $10 - $20. Presliced bagels, as sold in most supermarkets, tend to be flimsy, light and lacking in taste. The investment in the bagel slicer is worth it! The Marketside bagels are relatively dense, tasteful and satisfying. These aren't real New York bagels, which are a true delight, but about one is going to get elsewhere. Highly recommended. For those that want more "everything: seasoning on the bagel, add a sprinkle of kosher salt on top of the butter or cream cheese. If you have some dried minced onion, some sesame seeds, or a touch of garlic powder, those work well, too.

These are so good.

these are so good. surprisedly, they're addictive. This flavor was not what I wanted and was not my pick for the substitution. I have been traumatized by panera from extra salty everything bagels and they ruined it for me every since. These I had given away to my family but the moment I tried one; I was hooked. They're pillowy, not overly salty, have the perfect amount of toppings and they're so delicious. I love them, who would've known that market side bagels would actually be spankin and I am a fan. I would get again.
