Marilyn Amaryllis features layer upon layer of lightly rippled, white petals accented with a fresh green hue, giving it the rare coloration for which it is known. Large flowers appear 6-8 weeks after planting, and can be grown year after year with proper care. Arrives in a foil-wrapped nursery pot for easy gift giving. Place near a well-lit window away from direct heat sources on a protected surface. Upon arrival, water moderately with luke warm water. Water sparringly before buds appear, keeping soil slightly moist. After buds appear water a few times a week, but avoid overwatering. In late summer, stop watering, allow the foilage to wither, and cut the leaves off. Store in a cool, dry place for 6 to 8 weeks, and then move to a well-lit, warm area and resume watering once growth begins. Each offer includes three 26 cm diameter amaryllis bulbs planted in a container measuring 7.25" tall and 9.25" wide.
