It was pretty tasteless. And mushy. Not very "cheesey." I prepared it in the the microwave, which there are directions for heating it in the microwave as well as directions for heating it in the oven. Maybe it would have been less mushy if heated in the oven. But I don't think that would have made it any more flavorful. It was edible. But I don't plan on purchasing it again .

I purchased this item via online shopping. When I looked at the package image, I was a little confused because it didn't look like any potato casserole I'd ever seen. Upon opening the box, I discovered the casserole covered in corn flakes. Okay, an old school approach to crunchy topping, but still, a little surprising for an almost $5 mini side dish. My friends, I'm sorry to say it didn't get better from there regarding taste and texture. The fully cooked result was a bland, slightly soupy looking consistency of, not hash browns, O'Brien potatoes, or, well I'm not really sure what they were but they were sparse and definitely not cheesy. As you might expect from a frozen potato dish, the corn flakes “crumble” was soggy and disappointing. Can probably skip this one.

Absolutely disgusting! The sauce doesn't taste cheesy at all, all I taste is onion and I didn't even think it had onion in it. I'm not a picky eater by any means so the fact that I had to spit this out really tells you how bad it is. I expected better from Marie Callender's.
