Surprisingly Good
I totally enjoyed it. And I am a connoisseur of frozen meals. Especially frozen meals that are calorie conscious. I was just so surprised by the gravy, the flavor,& the generous portion. And the calorie count was low enough that I didn't feel like I was ruining my diet. I will definitely be buying it again!
The best microwave dinner
I buy this all the time to eat. At least fifteen boxes since discovering it. So far, the meatloaf has always been a smooth and even texture, the mashed potatoes are not too watery nor too rubbery, and the corn never has strings in it. My only qualm is that there's not enough gravy. The meal is pretty small, more like a snack for my hungry self. But if there was more gravy then I could supplement the dinner with some bread and dip it in the gravy. It's still the best microwave dinner I've ever had (and I've tried soooo many).
Meat Loaf & Gravy with a Thickener (?Mashpotatoes
What has gone wrong!? This meal requires lots of hot sauce and a prayer. First, the portions seem to continue to get smaller, second, what is going on with those "mashed potatoes" - the potatoes are like the remanence of the roux used to thicken the gravy. It does not work. The gravy is still watery, third, what is up with the mystery meat - it is gray, pinkish and never looks fully cooked, fourth, work on adding more flavor. This gets 2 stars because of the corn. DO BETTER!
