Although some may have good reason in other industries, I don't understand why many equipment manufacturers won't use solid tires like these, not pneumatic. Pneumatic tires have to be maintained, regularly, and dry rot and go flat, quickly. We use these on hand trucks and oil-fired heaters. Imagine trying to lug a fully-fueled heater or loaded hand truck around on a pneumatic tire that wants to flatten. The solid tires are safer and easier, especially on your back.
