Mandisa's debut album True Beauty gave inspiration and hope to women everywhere and challenged us to rethink our definition of beauty. With widespread media coverage including The Today Show, and LIVE! With Regis and Kelly, this American Idol alum proved she had more than just talent ' but something important to say. Along the way, True Beauty scanned over 155,000 units, making it the best selling new artist album in 2007. Now she returns with her follow up album Freedom, releasing March 24th. Featuring the first single 'My Deliverer', the overaching theme of the album is the unique freedom that comes from a realtionship with Christ. Another Hit!
Mandisa has done it again! Spiritual, beautiful, touching songs. It has something for everyone. Mandisa is most definitely blessed and her beautiful voice is annointed. I couldn't find a song on the cd that I didn't like so once again, Mandisa has given everyone their moneys' worth; you can listen to the cd all the way through(don't find that very often). I'm looking forward to the next one already. Keep it up Mandisa, you are truly blessed. I've been looking forward to this cd for 6 months and it is just what I expected from this talented woman. "How Much", "Leave it in the Valley", "Freedom Song", "Definition of Me" & "You Wouldn't Cry" (Andrew's Song) have quickly become my favorites, but I love the entire cd. Truly annointed!
