Hob - From Frozen - Stove Top. Bring ½ cup water to a boil in saucepan. Stir in rice; reduce heat to medium. Cover and cook 5 to 6 minutes; stir halfway through cooking. Drain and serve. Microwave - From Frozen - 1) Place frozen, unopened bag this side up in microwave. Do not pierce bag. For microwaves with a metal rack, remove rack. 2) Microwave on high for 3 to 5 minutes.*. During cooking, the bag will slowly inflate. A special vent in the bag will allow the steam to escape and a whistling sound may be heard. 3) Let stand for 1 minute after cooking. Carefully handle bag at corners marked with the red dots and remove from microwave with two hands. Hold bag over serving dish. Tear bag at notch. Pour, stir and enjoy! Cook thoroughly before eating. Microwave Cook Time*. Wattage: 1200, Minutes: 3. Wattage: 1000, Minutes: 5. Wattage: 800, Minutes: 5. *For proper food safety, cook 1 bag at a time to a temp. of 160°F. Refrigerate leftovers promptly; reheat before serving.

Love these mix vegetables as it can complete any meal when you add any meat. I always purchase at least 10 bags because my family loves this rice and mix veggies. You can't beat the price and overall value and you can microwave and if you don't eat the whole bag you can fold the bag and refrigerate. These are so good and you can add butter and salt or nothing once you finish microwaving. My husband and I use one bag which is plenty but if you have a larger family then it may take 2 bags. It is the best for me to purchase on my grocery list.

Makes a great meal with some extra things added
My only picky kid I have actually eats this. I think having the rice helps. I throw in some shredded/ cut up chicken, ground meat, or shrimp and it makes a great meal (either use a 2nd bag or add some more cooked rice or veggies to make it stretch). I use this with garlic, some aromatic herbs, some gluten free soy sauce or teriyaki sauce and my kids love it!
