However I full them with a pitcher or a cup and works perfectly šŸ„° I love the lids so you can get an entire tray with all full ice cubes, don't spill inside the freezer and they are sturdy. Ok, here is what I am going to use this for (never really see these), lemon/lime juice (for drinks), coffee (I love iced coffee, this prevents it from watering down). sofrito (which is like a salsa, and individual cubes can be added one at a time as needed). Sure, I can put it in the freezer and make ice, but I can do so many other things, and I love that it has a lid
