DOES NOT WOBBLE! Pole is slender, gooseneck is very bendy. Several light settings make it ideal for next to my recliner, across from TV. I can choose the type of light (intensity, etc) to meet my need. I like to read with a TV table and I can focus the light onto the pages or aim onto ceiling for a more diffuse effect. Heavy base.
