Powerful!!!

This is a powerful fan. It sits low to the ground and it really moves the hot air in its way. The first setting on this fan is incredibly powerful and I generally have not gone up to the third power on this fan just yet. I feel like the third setting would be great to dry wet carpet or water or spills, it does a great job. I generally use this fan outdoors on my patio. The days are beginning to get hotter and more time is spent outside, and we plan to spend much more time outside as summer-time rolls around. I can easily pick this fan and change it angel to hit the entire patio seating area outside and it does a great job of keeping the flies away from this patio area. I feel like it works much better than the ceiling fans that are generally on patios. The high powered motor works great indoors as well. In an open concept home, with large rooms, it can aid with crisp, cool, circulating air. It helps minimize my electric bill when I don't want to run the air conditioning or even if I want to add better air circulation in basements or two story homes. It is also great for the garage when my husband is out there working, he gets a bit of a break on the heat now. The black matte paint color, and chevron embossed steel, give this drum fan a great modern industrial look as an addition for any man cave.

Strong and Stylish

Really happy with this fan! Be prepared, it does blow a lot of air, even on the lowest setting, but it's a smooth hum noise. This is great for Summer months or working in a warm garage. The diamond plate style on the outer edge and chrome blades make this a great looking garage fan. Very easy to put together, no tools needed. Comes with wall mounting piece and heavy duty screw with anchor.

Blows My Socks Off

I received the Mainstays 20`` Hv Drum Fan and I'm loving it. I have another high-velocity fan that isn't as heavy duty like this and unquestionably isn't as powerful like this one. The mainstays version is well made out of all metal and seems very sturdy and also seems like it will last for some years. The fan has three speeds, every speed is the fan blows a powerful. It really pushes the air through the rooms. As with any high velocity fan its loud, but I don't mind it because the noise puts me to sleep. Another great feature with this fan is it can pivot 110 degrees. It has a carrying handle for easy moving about. The fan also has hooks on the back so you can wrap the cord around. I put this in my living room and open the door so it could let out all the hot air. It really forces the air around and gets the air circulating. I would definitely recommend this Mainstays 20`` Hv Drum Fan to anyone who wants a powerful fan that will get air circulating, it's well worth the price and you will not regret it.
