We own a small business and flavor our coffee in small batches, and these canisters were needed for more flavoring options as we are growing, and they are perfect. We did not require lids, as we already have silicone stretch lids that fit perfectly. These do not hold onto the bean flavors. They just wash right out. Even our super strong flavorings are able to be washed out with ease. One of them that I purchased in the store had a chip but the ones that came in the mail were perfect and packaged so well. Liked the plain and simple design of this item. It is very heavy, sturdy, and provides lots of space to store spatulas, wooden spoons/spatulas, all cooking utensils etc! Can also be used as a planter or for flowers (although I can not speak to whether this is sealed or if it would leak if used as something other than a utensil crock)
