High quality replacement, safe for kids

I bought this as a slow release replacement toilet lid that was safe for little kids to not slam the lid and get injured. The assemble was a little intimidating because there was a bag of parts whereas I thought it would just be one screw with a bottom fastener. My Husband installed it easily and it does look high end with the large fasteners on the back. It is sturdy and well made. For the price, I would recommend it as a good value for a replacement seat.

I replace a toilet seat(s) about every 5 to 10 years for whatever reason. Each time there seems to be new install technology. This new seat was no exception. Very cool how they've been made to easily remove for cleaning. Yes it's wood, yes it's soft close, but the cleaning aspect is something new and not really marketed. It's a great feature. Great seat!
